As general manager, Rick is an important part of the Sweeney Estate Agents team in Bacchus Marsh, where his enthusiasm and dedication are making their mark. “Moving into real estate was not an initial goal of mine but having many friends and colleagues in the industry and watching their success had inspired me”, he explains. “Sweeney Estate Agents have always had innovative marketing campaigns and ideas, this naturally caught my attention. When I see an opportunity I like to grasp it”.

Before joining Sweeney Estate Agents, Rick worked in the wool industry which involved both carbonizing, scouring and running a team of approximately 30 people, he thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and dealing with clients on a national level.

Rick today continues to maintain his close relationship with all his clients and likes to get to know the people he is working with. “After years of experience I have learnt to appreciate potential and look at the positive aspects in all homes and I believe that this is necessary to achieve the best results possible for our clients”.

Since joining our team in March 2005 Erin has proven to be dedicated and passionate about listing and selling real estate. She has built up an enviable reputation with clients, colleagues and her peers. Erin’s passion extends to her empathy for the vendor, she understands the importance of maintaining a close working relationship with them and keeping them informed at all times.

Born and raised locally, Erin’s intimate knowledge of the area has proven to be an excellent and invaluable marketing tool when dealing with clients. A sales background in the horse industry, combined with a fashion business created from inception, has given Erin a sound knowledge of what is required to achieve positive results in a sales based industry.

With a proven track record to match the needs of a purchaser to their particular requirements, combined with a desire to achieve the best result for the vendor, Erin’s repeat and referral business clientele has grown rapidly. Our Property Management Department is overseen by Sharyn Callander – Senior Property Manager who has more than twelve years experience. Ten of those years have been spent in Bacchus Marsh so you may remember renting from her previously. Alternatively, she may have managed your property. She certainly remembers those people who have rented from her – which may or may not be good!

Sharyn is also an investment property owner herself, so she is sympathetic to your needs. You can have complete confidence that your property is being managed efficiently at all times.

Sharyn’s past and present clients’ (landlords and tenants) comments and referrals have made it clear that Sharyn possesses the qualities and experience necessary to successfully manage a rental department.

Past tenants of Sharyn’s are now property owners themselves and have entrusted Sharyn to manage their property with the same enthusiasm and firmness. They appreciate that whilst Sharyn was always firm, she was fair.

Joining the Sweeney team in April 2008 Courtney has quickly settled in to be a vital member of our team. Courtney completed a Traineeship through the Real Estate Institute of Victoria, which has provided her with Certificate III in Real Estate. “I have gained an extensive amount of knowledge while undertaking the Traineeship and will continue to strive to improve my skills to gain successful results.

Courtney comes from a successful harness racing background where she learnt that hard work, long hours and dedication provides results. Courtney also enjoys playing netball and spending time with family and friends.

Courtney understands the importance of customer service and this is one of her greatest attributes “I treat people with utmost courtesy and respect knowing that they are placing their second greatest asset in my hand besides family. I understand that buying and selling can be a life changing experience. My aim is to get the best result for the client and make the sale a stress free process for both the vendor and the purchaser.

Courtney’s pro-active attitude has already enabled her to form many successful relationships with clients. Her friendly happy approach is just one of her many qualities that helps provide a successful sale result.

Garry has lived in Melton for most of his life and attended St Dominic’s primary school and completed secondary school at Mowbray College. Garry went on to complete a bachelor’s degree in Recreation from Victorian University and a diploma in Estate Agents Practice from Swinburne University of Technology

Garry started out in Real Estate in 1995 selling properties in both Melton and Bacchus Marsh. In doing so has gained valuable knowledge in the local real estate market on many occasions setting new sales records. Selling real estate came natural to Garry and he is not afraid to go that extra mile. He has sold properties from Kensington in the city to as far as Daylesford and prides himself on customer satisfaction.

Garry achieved his full estate agents license in 2004 where you undertake a rigorous course that produces the highest possible standards of estate agency practice. You can be confident that your agent has the knowledge to deal with your property with this qualification behind them.

Garry’s career also expands into the investment market, and has sold both inner city and regional properties with rental guarantees. His knowledge is unquestionable in the property market and can assist his clients in all matters pertaining to real estate. It is no surprise that he is back selling real estate, as it is not only a career for Garry but also a passion.

Cheryl Lambrick – Property Manager, has owned numerous investment properties over the last 23 years and has bought and/or sold eight properties. This means that she can empathise with landlords – a key criteria when managing and inspecting properties on their behalf and ensuring they are maintained at the high standard expected by SWEENEY ESTATE AGENTS – Bacchus Marsh.

In 2002 Cheryl completed the Agent’s Rep course because her interest in the property market deepened and as a landlord she wanted to know her rights, and those of her tenants. She also knew that one day she would work in property management

In 2006 Cheryl started at Sweeney Estate Agents as weekend receptionist and client services, working alongside the sales and property management departments. Her local knowledge and marketing experience have been an added bonus.

In 2008 Cheryl’s focus moved to property management and assisting Sharyn as there was a need for more dedicated property managers to manage the growing rental market in Bacchus Marsh. Whilst ensuring tenants are treated fairly and equally, we also never forget the rights of the landlord. Without them we would not have a business.
